Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome

Wilderstein

Wilderstein is an 1888 Queen Anne-style mansion that was home to the Suckley family, descendants of the Livingstons and Beekmans. The grounds were designed in the American romantic landscape style by Calvert Vaux. Interiors and windows were designed by J.B. Tiffany.

Staatsburgh State Historic Site

Vanderbilt Mansion National Historic Site

Franklin D. Roosevelt National Historic Site

This home, called Springwood, was originally built as a simple four-room dwelling in the mid-19th century. Purchased by James Roosevelt in 1867, it was enlarged in 1882, and again in 1915 when it assumed its present Georgian Revival appearance. The house has been preserved to its appearance in the 1940's when it was the home of President and Mrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt. Back to top of page
Samuel F. B. Morse Historic Site
